We are seeking an experienced Education Program Manager to join our team. As the Education Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of educational programs that promote the arts and enrich the lives of individuals in our community. You will work closely with a team of educators and advisors to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational content. The ideal candidate has a strong background in program development, team management, and a passion for education and the arts. Duties:

  • Facilitate the implementation of educational programs under the direction of the Education Advisory Committee and the Executive Director.

  • Manage and provide guidance to educational contract staff and volunteers, ensuring effective program execution and a positive learning environment for students.

  • Develop lesson plans that meet TEKS standards.

  • Conduct research on other non-profit educational arts programs to identify trends and best practices for program improvement and innovation.

  • Assume marketing and outreach responsibilities for educational programs, including creating promotional materials, coordinating outreach efforts, and engaging with local schools and community organizations to increase program visibility and participation.

  • Manage relationships with partnering organizations, such as schools, community centers, and other arts institutions, to collaborate on joint initiatives and expand the reach of educational programs.

  • Compile regular briefings and updates to donors and partnering organizations to showcase the impact of educational programs and maintain strong relationships.

  • Coordinate with partner organizations to align educational efforts, maximize resources and opportunities for program participants.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate educational initiatives into overall organizational strategy.

  • Establish and administer educational scholarships to provide financial assistance to deserving individuals seeking to participate in arts education programs.

  • Manage the budget for educational programs, ensuring financial sustainability, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

  • Assist with grant writing and development/ fundraising activities for programs.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in education, arts administration, or a related field, and Texas Teacher certification is a plus.

  • TEKS experience preferred.

  • Experience in program development and management, preferably in an educational/ non-profit setting.

  • Excellent time and team management skills, communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders partnering organizations, and program participants.

  • Proficient in conducting research and analyzing data to inform program decisions.

  • Marketing experience and ability to utilize digital platforms is desirable.

  • Public relations experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.

  • Passion for arts education and a commitment to providing access to the arts for all individuals in the community.
